Greece is the word

Do they ever rest at The Generic Man HQ? In the same week that they launched Generic Surplus at Urban Outfitters in the US, a sneaker range for grown up thinkers, my man Brandon informs me that they are dropping a little one off special in honour of the 50th anniversary of Athen's nirvana of now, Bettina
Can you believe Athens has had such a cool shop for so long? In all probability, Nana Mouskouri may have honed her early look there. It is an amazing store, well worth visiting their website if only to snap up TGM's exclusive canvas and patent leather Savant's.

Savant Garde

Brandon from The Generic Man emailed Mr. Hare to let me know that they are dropping these patent Savant's for all you hep cats to rock through the Christmas party season.
How lovely must it be to come from Southern California where you can actually consider wearing single sole shoes in colours to match the pacific sunset during the months of December and the new year.
Mr. Hare can't help but contemplate the implications of salt damage and toe freeze as he dashes from the taxi through the sleet and snow of the harsh yuletide evenings of festive London, heat seeking in his gait.

Tomorrows shoes, Today!

The only thing that has really caught Mr. Hare's eye on the New York catwalks this weekend were these rather complete Oxfords which appeared in both Perry Ellis and Shipley & Halmos' shows.
Men.style.com also noticed them and pointed out they were by The Generic Man (click title to go there).
Mr. Hare was then elated to find out that these badboys are AW2008 season and yours for just $295.00 (two chickens and sack of corn in English money).
So why wait for next summer when the "Good iSht" is right here.
